Operra: a ready-made system for shifts, hours and daily operations
Operra brings shift planning, time tracking, absence, checklists and incident reports into one system, with an app for employees. It suits businesses that want a finished solution instead of building their own.

What is Operra?
Operra is a Norwegian operations platform for service businesses whose staff work in shifts. It is built by Thirdlinks in Oslo. Each business chooses the modules it needs, and every employee gets their own login and app. Operra is available in Norwegian.
How much does Operra cost?
Operra costs NOK 39 per active employee per month, and each module costs NOK 99 or 199 per month. Prices exclude VAT. You can try Operra free for 30 days. There is no lock-in, and you can cancel month to month.

Choose a module to see it on desktop and mobile. The screens are in Norwegian. More modules, and the status of each one, are listed on operra.no.
Shift planning
Create and share shift plans in a week view. You see the week’s wage cost while you plan, and employees are notified when the plan changes.

Time tracking
Employees clock in and out. You see who is at work, correct missed clock-outs and export timesheets to Excel or PDF.

Absence
Self-certified and certified sick leave, holidays, leave and time off in lieu in one overview. You approve requests and see how absence affects staffing.

Checklists
Checklists for daily routines and inspections, with fields such as yes or no, numbers, photos and temperature. A failed critical item becomes an incident report.

Incident reports
Employees report incidents from their phone, with a photo and anonymously if they wish. You follow up with an owner, a deadline and actions until the case is closed.

Employee register
Every employee with department, job title and contact details. The register, logins for all employees and the app are part of every subscription.

Inventory
Products, stock levels and expiry dates in one place, with an alert when stock runs low.

Why did we build Operra?
Many shift-based businesses run their schedules, hours and absence in spreadsheets, messages and on paper. The same information is entered in several places, and things get missed.
We built Operra to bring this into one system. The shift you plan becomes hours worked, the hours become payroll data, and absence is linked to staffing.
Who is Operra for?
Operra is made for businesses with roughly 10 to 100 employees, where many people work shifts and do not sit at a desk.
- Cafés, restaurants and catering
- Shops and retail
- Hairdressers, clinics and health
- Construction, cleaning and transport
- Manufacturing, staffing and education
Need something Operra does not cover?
Operra is a finished product for the most common tasks around staff and daily operations. Some businesses need more, such as their own workflows, connections to other systems or a business system of their own.
Then we build a custom solution. We start by mapping how your business works today, and build what is missing.
Questions about Operra
What is Operra?
Operra is a ready-made system for shift planning, time tracking, absence, checklists, incident reports and other daily operations. It is built by Thirdlinks in Oslo and runs in the browser and in an app for employees.
How is Operra different from a custom system?
Operra is finished and ready to use straight away. We build a custom system when a business has needs that a ready-made system does not cover, such as its own workflows or connections to other systems.
Does Operra run payroll?
No. Operra prepares the payroll data, but it does not run payroll or file the monthly payroll report (A-melding). That is done in a payroll system such as Tripletex, Fiken or Visma.
Where is Operra data stored?
Operra stores its application data in the EU/EEA.
Where can I find prices and all modules?
Current prices, a price calculator and the status of every module are on operra.no.
